Tian Chang'an, leader of the China Association for the Development of Hearing Medicine, stated that the public welfare project funded by FedEx was first implemented in Xi'an, effectively helping impoverished and hearing-impaired children in the area receive timely treatment, making them deeply feel the care and warmth from all sectors of society. In the future, we also hope to continue to cooperate with FedEx to further promote the smooth implementation of the "Assistance Action for Poor Hearing Impaired Children" in western cities, and call on more knowledgeable individuals from society to participate in the rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children in China.
FedEx China President Chen Jialiang said, "FedEx is very pleased to collaborate with the China Hearing Development Association to carry out this project. As responsible corporate citizens, we constantly explore new ways to help more vulnerable groups, especially those who represent the future. We hope that this project can bring welfare to these children and convey positive energy from businesses and all sectors of society to them."
On behalf of all families of hearing-impaired children, parents of hearing-impaired children said on site, "As a parent of hearing-impaired children, I would like to express my special gratitude to FedEx, the China Association for the Development of Hearing Medicine, and the Xi'an Disabled Persons' Federation for their help. Our current family economic situation is completely unable to afford this customized hearing aid, which has delayed the time for our children to recover their hearing. We are very grateful for this rescue operation, which has given our children the opportunity to rebuild their hearing and return to normal social life."
